1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the Invoice Maker – One Click mobile application (the "App") handles your data. The App is built around privacy-by-design: all of your invoice data is stored locally on your own device.

The App does not operate its own servers, does not use analytics, crash reporting, or Firebase services, and does not require an account for core functionality. Nothing you create in the App is transmitted to us.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device in local storage (an on-device database – Hive):

• Invoices you create, including line items, quantities, prices, tax, and totals.
• Customers you add (names, phone, email, addresses).
• Brand settings: business name, phone, email, address, logo, currency, tax, invoice prefix, terms, and receipt-format preferences.
• App preferences: language, theme, and local ad-frequency counters.

None of this local data is transmitted to us or to any third party. It stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up (Section 3) or share it (Section 4).

3. Google Sign-In & Google Drive Backup (Optional)

The App offers an optional, opt-in Google Sign-In feature to back up your data to your own Google Drive account. This feature is completely inactive until you explicitly sign in.

• When you sign in, the App may back up your invoices, customers, and brand settings as a JSON file stored in your own personal Google Drive (in an InvoiceMaker folder owned by you).
• The App requests access to your Google email address and uses the drive.file scope. This means the App can only access the backup file it creates — it cannot read, modify, or delete other files in your Google Drive.
• The backup stays in your own Drive and is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by removing the file from your Drive, and you can revoke access by signing out in the App or via your Google Account settings.

Google Sign-In and Google Drive are operated by Google and are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Sharing Invoice Files (PDF / Image)

When you use the App's Share / Export buttons, the App creates a PDF or image of your invoice on your device and hands it to the standard operating-system share sheet (WhatsApp, Email, etc.). The file leaves your device only when and where you decide to send it. The App itself never uploads these files to any server.

5. Receipt Scanning / OCR

The App's receipt-scanning feature uses on-device OCR (built-in Tesseract engine). The receipt image and its recognized text are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

If you choose to capture a receipt with the camera, the camera is used only for that action. Images are not uploaded to us or to any third-party server.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays advertisements using Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). To deliver and measure ads, the SDK may collect and process:

• your device's advertising ID (e.g., Android Advertising ID),
• device model, OS version, and screen/network information,
• approximate location (when available from the device), and
• data about how you interact with ads.

This data is collected by Google (the ad provider) according to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use the advertising ID for any purpose, and we never combine ad data with your invoice data. You can opt out of personalized advertising via your device's Ads settings or Google Ads Settings.

7. Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions only when needed for a feature you use:

• Camera — only for optional receipt scanning / OCR. Images stay on your device.
• Photos / storage access — only when you choose to pick a logo, attach an image, or save/export a file. Access is user-initiated.
• Notifications — only if the App offers optional local reminders and you allow them.

You can deny any permission. Core invoice create/edit features work without granting optional permissions.

8. Security

Your data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's own security features. The App has no servers of its own, so there are no server-side copies of your invoice data held by us. Transmission to Google Drive (when you opt in) uses Google's OAuth 2.0 over HTTPS.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is a business/finance productivity tool and is not directed to children under the age of 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Data Retention, Deletion & Your Choices

• Delete created content at any time within the App.
• Uninstall the App to permanently remove all locally stored data.
• Google Drive backup: remains in your own Drive until you delete it (delete the backup file from your Drive to remove it).
• Ads opt-out: disable personalized ads as described in Section 6.
